VILLA VINEA

VILLA VINEA is a multi-family residential building, inspired by the work and distinctive style of architect Adolf Loos. Despite being a new construction, it creates harmony with the surrounding villas of Hanspaulka, also on account of its being set back from the street line and of its rotated position. In design of this house, I worked with several important principles – the ”raumplan”, a unique element in 20th-century architecture (1st floor), building’s orientation of 27° on its plot, thanks to which the building communicates with Prague Castle from its living room or the spacious terrace on the 3rd floor. The facades are characterised by plain lines and an asymmetry, typical for the work of Loos.

The project is competing in INSPIRELI AWARDS, INSPIRELI ARCHICAD PRIZE and INSPIRELI LUMION PRIZE.

All buildings are oriented into the new square and Veleslavínská str., at the same time communicating with the back, semi-public yard. Domus Gramina – inn with a pension and brewery in Železný Brod

DOMUS GRAMINA is a design of an inn with a pension and an adjacent mini-brewery in the quarter Trávníky, a part of the mountain town of Železný Brod. The mass of the inn with the pension is based on the former buildings no. 136 and 256, which stood in the south-eastern part of Malé náměstí until the second half of the 20th century. The building of the inn U černého orla was also a part of it, which was supplemented by a pension, providing place for multi-day stays. The design is complemented by a central courtyard between the inn and brewery, which serves as a restaurant garden or a place for events and meetings.

The project is competing in INSPIRELI AWARDS, INSPIRELI ARCHICAD PRIZE and INSPIRELI LUMION PRIZE.
